On the afternoon of the 26th, Lee Dal-hee, Deputy Governor of Economy of Gyeongsangbuk-do, had a meeting at the provincial government building with six financial officials from Hong Kong, including Wu Jie-zhuang, a member of the Chinese Peoples Political Consultative Conference-Hong Kong Legislative Council; Zhao Jincheng, general manager of overseas investment of GBR Capital; Alex Wan, foer of AIF (investment in blockchain and verse); and Leon Zhou, CEO of fantsay.
The group of Hong Kong investors visited the Republic of Korea to attend the ing ceremony of the Busan International Financial Center (BIFC).
This meeting was arranged at the request of the Hong Kong investor group who have shown special interest in Gyeongsangbuk-do even before their visit.
Along with Tencent Music, Hong Kong investors run an investment firm called Goldford. They are known as global investors who make investments in global concerts, cultural spaces, and theme parks.
Lee Dal-hee, Deputy Governor of Gyeongsangbuk-do Economy, said “I would like to express my gratitude to Wu Jie-zhuang, a member of the Hong Kong Legislative Council, and the investor group for their special visit with high interest in Gyeongbuk. Regarding the construction of an integrated new airport, please invest not only in the service, tourism, and logistics industries, but also in local promising small and medium-sized enterprises and start-up companies.” He then added, “Starting with this meeting, it would be fantastic to continue to identify projects with which Gyeongsangbuk-do can collaborate.”
