If youre seeking a getaway from the busy city atmosphere, Andong Gunja Village might be your answer. This town holds a total population of 15 people - small enough for your rural getaway but just enough to make sure you dont feel completely deserted.

This all-natural soju is similar to what might once have been made in the home of a yangban official.
Andong also features Koreas only Museum of Confucianism. Its hands-on exhibitions allow visitors to experience some aspects of neo-Confucian life as it was practiced by well-to-do families before Korea’s modernization.
